Starting January 1, 2021 Treated Wood Waste (TWW) will be fully regulated as Hazardous Waste in California. TWW will require special handling and disposal. Hazardous TWW must now be transported to a Class I hazardous waste landfill, or to an authorized out of state landfill, for disposal.
