The management team at Hayward Lumber is carefully monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak. Our first priority is the health and safety of our employees, customers, families, and communities. In recognition of the public health imperative facing us all, we’re doing our part to help slow the spread of the disease in California. We continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and federal, state, and local government officials.
The Governor issued an executive order effectively expanding the shelter-in-place order that we have been operating under for all of California. The Governor has asked that we continue to provide essential services to our community in a safe and orderly fashion. We continue to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 and are taking steps to ensure the safety of our employees and customers. We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines and announcements from our federal and state governments in order to help fight this disease. The situation is changing rapidly, and we will continue to update you as these changes occur.
The most important recommendation is to maintain social distancing and practice good hygiene by frequently washing hands and, avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth. Frequently clean high touch areas and don’t share pens or other devices. If you have any symptoms or are at risk, it’s especially important to stay home and avoid in-person contact with others. We will get through this together.
